2027 Silverado FAQ
Answers to the questions we're hearing most about the redesigned Silverado 1500.

Yes. The 2027 Silverado 1500 is a next-generation truck that has been completely redesigned inside and out. Chevrolet has given it a bolder exterior, a redesigned interior, upgraded technology and an updated engine lineup.
What's the difference between the 2026 and 2027 Silverado 1500?
The 2027 Silverado 1500 is an all-new generation, while the 2026 is the final year of the previous one. The biggest differences:

- Max towing rises from 13,300 to 13,700 lbs. when properly equipped
- A 16.3-inch center display and 12.2-inch driver display are standard on every trim
- The lineup goes from nine trims to seven: the new Silverado trim replaces LT, and RST and LTZ are discontinued
Is the 2027 Silverado more expensive than the 2026?
For most trims, yes. Comparing starting MSRPs, both including the $2,795 destination freight charge:
- Work Truck: up $1,700, to $41,395

The 2027 is worth the wait if you want the new digital cockpit on every trim, up to 13,700 lbs. of towing with the 5.7L V8 or 481 hp from the new 6.6L V8. Contact Romeo Chevrolet and we'll help you compare in-stock 2026 trucks with 2027 timing.
