I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I chose the day because I had the day off from work in the middle of the week , which I do not normally have. I made other plans for the day that were also time sensitive. It took two hours to complete this service! Other people were coming and going. No one came in at any time to tell why there could be a hold up. Finally a service worker came to get a different person, I asked if he knew when my car would be done. He said that he would check and come back and give me information. He never returned. After waiting two hours I got up and went to the service desk. The woman that was working apologized and said that my car was ready. She said she went back and talked to the service manager about this visit. She never gave me an answer on why it took two hours. I do not think that I will return to this service department for an oil change any more.

Some miscommunication between service advisors. When in for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at as there was a service message on my dashboard. Pick truck up after oil change and brake service message is still on dash. Called service and they said breaks are fine and automatically come on due to the miles on the truck. Service advised me to bring the truck in and the brake service message cleared from the dash. Came back a second time and the service advisor checked my brakes and said I needed new back brakes. Had to schedule another appointment. Came back to dealership a third time. While every time I came to the dealership I had to make accommodations with work and kids. Waited at the dealership in the showroom because there was no seating in the waiting room for 5 hours. Presented a coupon that could not accept for the $700 service. Finally let the dealership aggravated.

Team is very nice, place looks great. It's good to see some familiar Whiteman faces. Not happy at all that I was told I need new brake pads @ $700+. Thankfully I did not do the service and took it to a center I know. My brake pads have 8mm on all wheels. No need for brake pads. As you will see from my account I am usually onboard for keeping my vehicles in good shape, but this was my first experience with Romeo. I really hope this is not a norm.

Would like to have had my wheels Torqued on in a tire rotation to go along with my service. Apparently the Mechanic dictates the manner in which things get repaired so I have to bring my truck some where else to have my tires rotated if I want them done to a torque spec. Also my auto dimming headlight switch is not working and would like to have it repaired, but the mechanic on my truck was not a capable technician because they don't work on Saturdays, so now I have to set up for another appointment. Very inconvenient, for me as the customer.

This was only for state inspection They were on schedule and finished quickly. My complaint would be my previous service. That did take more time than I thought necessary for normal service check and oil change. Plus was very upset to find using charge card without previous notice (never done at previous service at Whiteman and not informed ahead of time of 3 % charge .) Your waiting area is very nice and well maintained. I am, however, sorry to say for the first time that have purchased several new cars every three to five years I. Will be looking into other dealers this year. I like my new cars every three years or so,

Our Traverse was in the shop for almost a month and during that time, no one called us to keep us updated on the progress of the vehicle. We had to call on multiple occasions after not hearing anything for days. The communication was so poor, in fact that we ended up trading the vehicle just so we didn't have to deal with that dealer again. Romeo Chevrolet has ruined what was once a great dealership and destroyed their customer service. I will be letting everyone I know not to visit this dealership

I scheduled service for my 2016 Chevy Colorado truck 2 weeks in advance in person at the service desk. The young gentleman I spoke with typed in all the service items I requested and set my appointment. I showed up on time and left my vehicle all day for service. When I arrived the young lady service manager pulled up my account/appointment notes and read them back to me. They were incomplete. I scheduled a NYS Inspection (priority #1), engine oil/filter change, coolant flush and change, transmission fluid flush and change, differentials fluid change (both on 4x4 truck), brake fluid flush and change, engine and cabin air filter change, and spark plug change. Missing from the list in my file was the spark plug change, the engine oil change, and brake fluid change. So the service manager added those things but could not give me a price estimate for the spark plug change for some reason. She promised to call me with the price before the work was done. I never got that call. I did receive a call mid-afternoon saying my vehicle was done and ready to go except that they could not change the differentials oil because my vehicle took a "special" oil that they did not have in stock. I reminded the service manager that I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance and they should have had plenty of time to get the correct fluids or they could run to a local parts store and get the fluids that day once they figured out they did not have what was needed. I then looked up the required differential oil specification for my truck and it is standard 75/90 weight GL5 oil, just like most other vehicles on the road. So why didn't the dealership have this standard gear oil in stock? Why couldn't they run out and get the 3 quarts required? Planning ahead and having it on hand would be good service and running out to get it when they realized they were out of stock would have been good service too, but they chose to just forego the work, not what I would call good service. Then when I arrived to pick up my truck I looked through the paperwork and noticed the NYS Inspection was not done (the main reason I brought the truck in for service). I asked about it and the service manager said they couldn't do it because the computer needed to be reset by driving the truck several miles before they could do the Inspection. The reason the computer needed to be reset was because the batter had been unhooked to change the spark plugs. So the service tech wasn't smart enough to do the NYS Inspection FIRST, before unhooking the battery which they should know would preclude them from doing the Inspection that day. I asked if I could drive the truck around and bring it back and was told no, they were too busy. I then explained that I was ALSO too busy, but I was making a sacrifice to help them get the job done. Another service manager interjected that I could take the truck to any number of shops to get the NYS Inspection done. That was their solution, for me to go somewhere else and have done what they screwed up with their inexperience or incompetence (you decide, but it was one or the other or both). I took my keys and left and will never go back to this dealer and likely never go to another Romeo dealership of any kind assuming this is how they train their staff to handle customers. I gave the visit 3 stars because the work that was done was done competently, it was just the customer service that was severely lacking, and the incompetence of not doing the inspection before unhooking the battery. I will take the service manager's advice and take my truck to a different shop for the NYS Inspection, and I will do him one better by taking my truck somewhere else for every other service need in the future. The folks at the service desk at Romeo Chevrolet know very little about Customer Service.

Was the first person in that morning. Oil change and four tires provided to be put on. 3 hours later and many others came and went. Was told they got behind which made no sense. I was first how could I get behind others? Watched as many cars pulled in before mine. I was obviously overlooked. They did make a gesture to make up for messing up which did carry some weight but can’t get those three hours of my life back.

the only problem i had was it took 2 hours to do an oil change and inspection. way too long. i had another appointment and had to cancel because i couldn't get there in time. i thought i had enough time in between my appointments. i've had oil and inspections done before there but it was whiteman's at that time. not sure i will go there again.

booked an appointment for 9:00 a.m. for my first oil change and tire rotation. arrived at the dealership at 8:45 and sat there waiting for three hours. no one ever explained to me why it was taking so long, especially when i had made the appointment two weeks ahead of time.over the past twenty years my family and i have purchased thirteen vehicles from whiteman chevy because they always gave me good service and fair pricing. i realize it was a free oil change but still no reason to make wait for three hours. i currently own a chevy equinox, traverse and silverado romeo chevy fired all the salespeople i have dealt with in the past and all your service staff are new too. oh and we also bought a toyota rav 4 from romeo toyota a couple years back too. i'm not impressed with your new staff.

The only problem that I had was how do you charge about $300 per hour for repair work. I checked in on time at 10:00 Am and was out by 12:00. I was charged almost $900 labor?? Next time I purchased a new vehicle, I probable have second thoughts. $300 per hour is more than outrageous!! The total repair bill was about $1200 - Parts/Labor.

had an 8:00 a.m. appointment for a new york state inspection. romeo chevy did not finish and return my truck until 9:15. does it really take that long for an inspection. last week my wife brought in my equinox for a n.y.state inspection and it only took 30 minutes. i don't get it. do you not have enough staff or do you try booking too many people at one time. funny that i never had this problem over the last 20 years when whiteman owned the dealership.

I wanted to check out the dealership under Romeo, I had been very satisfied with service for my Silverado at Whitman, I came for an oil and filter change with tire rotation and to have them check out my back up key fob which was not working. I was told there was a $169 diagnostic fee to check the key fob, which is crazy. I declined having them check out the fob; I'm sure an hourly labor rate would have kicked in to make a make the repair. The oil change and rotation was done, it took a little longer wait than other oil change/ rotation appointments, but not a big issue. The bill was higher than quoted over the phone. It seems an oil additive was added. I asked why the invoice not saying Dexos oil and the service representative said the description was GM's. Then when I used my GM card I got charged a 3% card fee. This was my introduction to Romeo Chevrolet. Do you think my next vehicle shopping will put a high priority to go there?

I scheduled the appointment and arrived on time, then proceeded to sit in the waiting room and watch my car sit there for over an hour. Also the added bonus of rotating tires with an oil change now costs $25, that bonus was why I came to this dealership. I am not sure if I am willing to keep driving an hour for just an oil change that takes over 2 hours to do

It took 4 weeks for rear springs that they told me would only take 3 days. I had to make a 45 minute trip 4 times as the appointment i made they never looked at my vehicle and then never looked at it the next day. Had to use it over the weekend. I was finally given a loaner which then proceeded to hear nothing. The excuse was that Anthony the service advisor left but never heard anything from the service manager. They did cover my headlight that was out but was out of my vehicle for 4 weeks which cost me money as I use it for work.

I made an appointment for an oil/filter change and tire rotation for last Weds, 12/10/25. I used your online method wot make the appointment which took about 15 mins. When I got to the dealership, the desk said half of the appointment notes were in Spanish (I don’t speak Spanish). English is my language. He said it states oil/filter change, tire rotation and that I have a problem with the brakes. Wrong - I told him only oil/filter change and tire rotation. Brakes are fine. Then, after waiting almost two hours, he brought my car out and we finished business. When I got in my car and turned on the engine, everything looked fine. Then as I got on the road, the ABS warning light came on along with Traction Control System light. (Also, the message displays the StabiliTrak system issue.) They are not flashing, and I tried to reset by turning off engine and starting again, but they are steady. My question is, when I drove into the dealership those lights weren’t on; isn’t that suspicious? I have another appointment this Tuesday for them to take a look.
